Maintenance Mechanic II - 3rd Shift

Job Description:

The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain and repair manufacturing and facilities equipment.  This includes a wide variety of tasks from preventative maintenance to the detection and timely repair of non-scheduled maintenance.  Responsibilities include performing routine inspections and blowdowns of the High Pressure Steam boiler; routine inspections/logging of process and process support systems; assisting with the regularly scheduled sanitation of the purified water system; preventative maintenance and repairs of all manufacturing and facilities equipment in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturer’s specifications; working with other Maintenance, Manufacturing and Operations personnel to install and set-up equipment; participating in departmental meetings; providing periodic additional weekend coverage as required and responding in the event of equipment or building emergencies.

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.  Class 2B Boiler’s License preferred or Special Boiler’s License with a minimum of 2 years hands on experience required.  Mechanical and Electrical aptitude.  Understanding of clean rooms and purified water systems.  Ability to lift 75 pounds.

Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am
