Nancy’s lost smile
For most of her life, Nancy struggled with her teeth. Even as a child, she rarely smiled because of self-consciousness. She learned to avoid many delicious foods, such as steak and apples, because of molars that easily cracked. After extensive bridge work, Nancy’s jaw bone was resorbing in areas where teeth had been removed.
